*Games: Starting at 7pm (play 2 ref 1)

*Cost: $450 per team ($466 after cc fees)

*18 Team Cap

*League Details: The league will be 8 weeks long. Teams will be split off into upper and lower divisions based on wins and losses after the 3rd week. There will be a 1st place winner for both upper (A) and lower (B) divisions.

*PLAYOFFS: Depending on the number of teams,

Quarter finals= 1 set to 25
Semi Finals= 3 sets to 25
Finals= 3 sets to 25

6v6 Coed Indoor Rules
•Our indoor volleyball league is recreational and follows USA Volleyball standard rules of play, unless noted below:

Team composition

i. All players must fill out a league waiver form to be eligible to play

The team captain is responsible for each of their team members having this done prior to competition, including substitutes if applicable

ii. Roster limit is 8

iii. Team requirement - a team consists of 6 players on the court at a time, but may start with a minimum of 4 players. A team must have at least two women on the court at all times. Teams may play with 1 woman, but can only play with 5 total players on the court. If you do not have a woman on the court, you may only play with 4 total players on the court. There is no maximum number of females that can be on the court.

iv. To receive a forfeit win, a team must have the required amount of players

if neither team can field a team, it is a double forfeit

v. If a team needs substitutes, they may recruit someone from outside or inside the league, as long as that person does not have a scheduled match at the same time and has filled out a waiver.

Game day

i. Please be punctual.

ii. Start date and time: Friday Nov, 14th 7pm-10pm

iii. Regular weekly matches are best 2 sets out of 3, first 2 sets are to 25 points, deciding set 3 is to 15

Win by 2, cap at 27 and 17

iv. Regular weekly matches will be pool play style

winner moves up, loser moves down based on wins and score differentials

v. A and B Divisions will be based on the results after week 3

A Division: Top 9 teams
B Division: Bottom 9 teams

vi. One 30 second timeout per set is permitted

vi. Finals

Single elimination bracket within teams division
First two rounds of bracket play will be one set to 25, semifinal and final will be full matches

Co-Ed Rules

i. If the ball hits the ceiling and crosses to the opposing side, it is a fault, otherwise play on. If the ball hits a wall, it is a fault.

ii. Players must rotate every sideout. Rotation order must stay the same throughout the set, but can be changed between sets in the same match

iii. Backrow players may not attack above the plane of the net in front of the ten foot line

iv. Any front row player can block

v. A block touch does not count as one of the three contacts

vi. Players may not touch the net during play, unless the ball is driven into the net causing the net to touch the player

vii. If the serve hits the net, it is in play

viii. Player cannot block or attack-hit a serve

ix. Player may not cross the center line unless completely outside the antenna

x. If a foreign object interferes with play, ball is dead, replay the point

Sportsmanship

i. Unsportsmanlike conduct can result in ejection or disqualification from future matches

ii. Refunds will not be issued for ejections or suspensions for unsportsmanlike conduct

iii. Do not argue with the referee or staff

iv. If problem arises, contact the site supervisor

v. Prizes: Trophies for 1st place per division
